This unit looks at a variety of different scales and develops the skill of reading them, by working out what the intervening marks represent between various numbered marks.
The exploration variously covers whole numbers of different sizes, fractions and decimals.
We begin simply with numbers, and then switch the context to scales.
This allows us to explore the links between fractions of litres and millilitres.
